What are you wearing under than gown?

Here she is... drugged up again.  Listen closely to the conversation... It's pretty funny... and she didn't veto it  (probably because she is still a little drugged on pain meds).....she is a light weight!

I also want to say thanks to some special friends who sent us a TON of lip balm.
I think there are over 40 tubes of it in assorted flavors.
(They must have heard about how when we were engaged we kissed so much our lips got chapped!)
And with those 40 tubes, were some amazing notes and words of encouragement.  We are so appreciative of great, great friends and their love and support!

Thank you.

  1. I have a love/hate relationship with this blog. I love that it keeps everyone in the know so that we can keep you in our hearts and prayers; but I hate the reason for it!
Today Steve gave the invocation in Sacrament Meeting. He paused, and his voice broke when he asked a blessing for those who this week are going through challenges. My eyes filled with tears because I knew exactly who he was praying for. The people by me probably thought I was a loon. Darn him. I'll return the favor someday. Promise.
And the lip balm-bahahaha! Funny thing is I remember going into the restroom with JaNae and helping her get out of her wedding dress to go off with some guy named Jeff. I kind of felt like I was sending off my girl like a lamb to the slaughter..........
Prayers going out this week and always. And if you want me to, I'll shave my head, even though then I would look like those shrunken head people from Beetlejuice; probably an improvement actually.

  2. Hey, JaNae--

My mom sent me the link to your blog about a week ago, and I've been trying to figure out what to say. (Yes, I am kind of a slow thinker. And I also haven't seen you in about 15 years.) This is what I've come up with: You're amazing and strong and way too young to have cancer. I really want one of those semi-colon shirts. Or would I just need a regular colon shirt? I'm glad you have the support of such an amazing family. I've been praying for you ever since I found out. I wish I could do more. (I'll try to think of something.)

    Good luck this week!

  3. Hey Janae,

I want you to know you are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

  4. Jesse and I think you guys should sell the semicolon shirts as a fundraiser. Is there someone around who could do that for you? We would both buy one.
